WHERE WE'RE GOING

WHERE WE'RE GOING
SUSTAINABILITY
With a water collection system, a kitchen, and the land allocated by the Chief, the preschool community is set up to grow their own vegetables. With a combination of smart-phone technology, training, and the value of cultural exchange, in cooperation with Chief Dumalisile’s 30 year Rural Development Plan, REACH! is also currently researching and investing in a solution to the unsustainable dependence of teachers on grants and stipends, and finding ways of allowing them to earn their own salary. Our goal is to refine this process, and duplicate it for seven more schools in the Amajingqi district, creating an effective, sustainable, source-based model that can be duplicated throughout SA.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Sixth school delivered January 2024.

Fundraising underway for seventh school scheduled for Jan 2025.
Donate/volunteer:

Where does your money go? Every dollar donated to REACH! goes directly into providing schools. We hire local South African workers and businesses, specifically chosen because they come from or have roots in the local community. Your dollars are used to purchase containers and pay for the modification; rent trucks and tools, pay for paint, diesel, transportation, and installation of play structures and toilets, classroom supplies and basic necessities like cooking stoves.

Our goal in the course of installing seven more schools in the Amajingqi district is to create an effective, sustainable, source-based model that can be duplicated throughout South Africa.
